Dear Fellow Toastmasters,

Today is the eleventh day of the eleventh month of the year.

I am clearing up all my office work so I can fly to Macau tomorrow freely and without worry.

Yes, I am flying to Macau to support my friends in the Macau Convention.

It will be the tenth consecutive District 80 Convention I have continuously been participating since I joined Toastmasters 5 years ago.

A Toastmaster Convention is our Hollywood-Red-Carpet-Event.

Speaking is an art.  We, Toastmasters, are artists.  We are actors, directors and screenplay writers of our own speeches.  We are celebrities in our own right.  We have the right to celebrate at our convention after hard work during the year.  Let us celebrate together at the 2009 Macau Convention, the day after tomorrow.

It’s the contest times for Toastmasters : Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contest. I’ve witnessed a number of contest from club level to area level, it’s great and I can proudly share with you that we will never regret and forget to be part of the contests. Both as contestants and as the audience we learn from the best and the most important thing is we support each other.
